But you might not have known that it’s actually a thing – a form of anticipatory anxiety – the fear you may experience before the onset of a specific event.
Despite its childish and unscientific term, the feelings associated with The Sunday Scaries are very real, and can be very debilitating.
Anticipatory anxiety thrives in uncertainty.
The less you are certain about, the easier it is to fear.
Use the steps to regain control of the areas you can control, and if needed, seek help to develop serenity in the areas you can’t control, or to identify which is which.
